Sidemen vs 100 Kids: YouTube stars choose E10

Case Study

The Leyton Orient Football Club pitch had a few more pairs of boots than usual running across it for one day in September 2021. In a recent YouTube video, 100 6–10-year-old kids descended upon E10 to take on British YouTube stars, Sidemen, in a unique football challenge.

Sidemen vs 100 Kids is one of the latest videos released on the Sidemen’s popular YouTube channel and it hit more than 3 million views within the first 12 hours of release.

Sidemen are official sponsors of Leyton Orient Football Club

Sidemen have a whopping 16.2million subscribers, over 260 videos, and over 4 billion views! Making them one of the most popular YouTube channels in the world.

Local to Leyton and looking to sponsor a local club and stadium to host their regular football challenges, Sidemen became an official sponsor of Leyton Orient Football Club in November 2020.

How did E10 plan the event?

With the group themselves, 100 kids and around 70 guests in the stands, the logistics of the day required meticulous planning from the E10 events team, who managed covid-secure arrival and departure processes at the stadium, as well as changing facilities for those involved.

Regular planning meetings ensured the day went by smoothly, as well as creating a fun and unforgettable experience for all involved.

As official sponsor of Leyton Orient, Sidemen continue to host football matches and challenges at the stadium. As well as pitch hire, the Sidemen utilised the team dressing room for further filming and content opportunities.
